This specific 11:11:11 Gateway is often described as amplifying and travelling through cosmic activation. Furthermore, this year, being an ’11’ year in numerology, is widely touted as an Ascension Year. Countless online resources discuss these phenomena, with new “gateways” seemingly opening almost monthly. A quick Google search will reveal a wealth of information on this topic.

My Own Experience on This Day
Today has unfolded as a remarkably quiet day for me, largely dedicated to rest after a physically demanding week. Recently, the baseball season here in Australia commenced, and I had the invigorating experience of being the mascot for the Perth Heat Baseball team. Additionally, a challenging hike to Piesse Brook in Kalamunda left my body feeling the exertion!
While working on optimising the website’s speed, I engaged in a deeply insightful conversation with a trusted contact. They shared a beautiful experience involving an Australian Aboriginal Elder, Aunty Violet. This conversation came after I had decided to step away from the computer and spend time in contemplation with Amy North, focusing on the flow of information between us. My aim was to better capture her words without the distortion of my own self-doubt—a common impediment to clear spiritual communication.
During our conversation, I experienced clear inner vision and profound sensations. As I instinctively began walking in a figure-eight pattern, I verbalised this observation. I’ve learned that during such exchanges, if a thought arises, it’s crucial to mention it, not for the sake of validating my sanity, but because it often holds significant meaning. This trusted contact then guided me through a meditation that led to the clearing of three distinct realities within my being. As Erwin Schrodinger once posited: “The total number of minds in the universe is one.”
Since returning from a trip to the US, I’ve been grappling with a persistent sense of loneliness and feeling somewhat down. However, as it’s often explained, a feeling of despondency can be a normal adjustment after a holiday, as one returns to routine and begins to ponder, “Well, what now?” This resonates strongly with my current experience, as I find myself asking precisely that question.
So, today has been an intriguing day, marked by significant internal occurrences during my conversation and time spent with Amy, yet accompanied by profound mental, emotional, and physical tiredness and lethargy.
My Own Theory: Beyond Calendar Time
In 46 BC, Julius Caesar introduced a significant reform to the Roman Calendar, which took effect on 1 January 45 BC. This Julian calendar was widely used across the Roman World, much of Europe, and European settlements in the Americas until it was replaced by the Gregorian calendar in 1582 by Pope Gregory XIII. Consequently, while today is 11/11/2018 according to the Gregorian calendar, it is 29/10/2018 on the Julian Calendar.
I’m not entirely convinced by the idea that a specific, pre-determined date will trigger a universal awakening, an ascension, or any other singular event for humanity. Calendars are merely human constructs of measurement, and prior systems of timekeeping existed long before our current ones. My belief is that awakening is an intensely personal journey, intrinsically linked to the individual’s unique experience and life path. Each person’s awakening is planned in accordance with their own soul’s blueprint and life journey.

While I don’t anticipate an “ascension into the fifth dimension” or something as outlandish as “ancient aliens coming to Earth,” as some suggest, I do know that somehow, something will happen. This something will likely cause a profound shift in reality for those who are open to it.
Perhaps this is the true meaning of “awakening”—a moment when you perceive the very fabric of reality shifting, when the curtain falls away, allowing you to see beyond the mundane. It’s a realisation that nothing is as it appears, and that nothing will ever be the same. Would the insightful conversation I had, and the discovery of the figure-eight pattern, have occurred on any other day? I don’t know.
What I do believe is that we do not fully comprehend the universe’s immense potential and its capacity for orchestrating events. At very specific moments, something extraordinary may or may not happen. What I do know is that an unlimited amount of potential is constantly available to us. It is in those moments of openness that space is created for something new to occur, and it is within that space that miracles can truly manifest. We are the creators of miracles because we are living on a planet within a universe where we can experience life in all its glory. That, I believe, is what matters most. Life!
